Shree Narayana Central School (SNCS) is a CBSE affiliated school managed by Shree Narayana Cultural Mission (SNCM). SNCS is one of the youngest schools managed by SNCM, which was established in the year 2010. Despite being a relatively young institution, it has witnessed a phenomenal growth since its establishment.
The current management of SNCM has always paid heed and provided a green channel for stakeholder feedback mechanisms in all the educational institutions administered by it. This helps in seamlessly integrate the feedback of the parents in line with the needs of the students and their holistic well-being. The Shree Narayana Central School is the fruition of such a proactive effort. One instance of this feedback integration occurred in the recent time when during such a feedback session, the President of the institution got enlightened about the fact that the parents whose employment is transferable, their students find it difficult to adjust seamlessly in a new school and in a new environment. This is often due to the different teaching methods followed in the new school along with the changes in the curriculum. The problem of ill-adjustment is compounded in case the school is located in a different state, which follows a different primary and secondary languages mechanism in its course curriculum. This causes stress, not just to the students, but also to the parents. It has also been witnessed in the recent times, and at all the schools run by SNCM that a student often Boomerangs once their parents move back to Ahmedabad. Keeping this thought in mind, and with the interests of students at the fore of every decision, the current management of the school, in the year 2006, decided to explore the possibility of starting a school which was duly affiliated to the CBSE Board of education. Primarily, this step was taken for the larger benefit of the students who frequently migrate to other states. It was subsequently realized that the inclination of parents and children towards the CBSE Board has been on the rise and hence, the response to a CBSE affiliated school run by SNCM has been overwhelming.
Before 2011, quality education hadn't been tapped on to its full potential, thus, after receiving the requisite approvals, SNCS started its academic journey in 2011. It initially shared the premises with Shree Narayana Guru Vidyalaya. Currently, SNCS has a state-of-the-art 5 storied building with well—equipped 30 classrooms. Keeping in mind the expected surge in admissions on the basis of the demand and enquiries of the parents, we are planning to increase about 5 to 10 class rooms by the start of the next academic year. The foundation stone of the building was laid in 2017 by Shri K.R.S. Dharan, the President and Managing Trustee of Shree Narayana Cultural Mission and post that, the construction of the building was complete in a record time of one year and was ready for use in the year 2018.
